Translators selection Checklist
We use a rigorous recruiting process to ensure that only best brains is hired to handle the translations.
The linguists we employ for your translation need to fulfill the following set criteria:
- Native translator should translate only in his/her mother tongue.
- Past experience in translation at least 1,00,000 words.
- Command over source language sample of previous assignments.
- Domain expertise Expertise and experience in their subject/industry.
- Knowledge of TM tools.
Quality Policy

Quality is an integral part of our work and is well ingrained in our system.
Translation : Native translator who is assigned their task does the translation and linguistic check is done.
Quality Check : Checks and comments made by the Editor and then discusses with client for terminology and style guide to be followed. These are then sent to native translator who has originally sent the translated file for review and reformatting.
Reformatting : Translator reviews comments made by the client/editor and makes a revisions. In case of conflicts Ratna Creations team, translator and Editor review and resolve. Client clarification is sought in technical areas and additional inputs on context and target audience
Proofreading : Proofreading is done with reference to translated file and source document for correctness.
Target File: Final file is reviewed for design, style and format if required layout is improved based on suggestions.
Final QA: The translation is verified by a proofreader and errors if any are resolved. If change is required to add value keeping in mind the context, these are communicated to client and resolved.
